Νέα ανάγνωση της επιγραφής IosPE I2 161 από την Ολβία

Περίληψη Άρθρου:

New reading of  IosPE I2 161 from Olbia

A new reading  of the inscription IosPE  I2 161  is offered on the basis of the autopsy of the stone. The inscription is placed by the author in the historical context of the unsuccessful siege of Olbia by Zopyrion, Governor of Alexander the Great, and thus is dated to the period 328-320 B.C. It is also suggested in the article that  Σωκράτης Ποσειδωνίου who was most probably an eponymous magistrate of Olbia ca. 335B.C. is the honorand of the inscription and the restoration of his name in l. 1 of the text is proposed.
